First impression really matter and the way you dress determine this. Being well dressed does not need a lot of effort; it is a matter of being disciplined on the way you clad and being self conscious. It does not have to be so expensive too; you do not have to rob a bank to be stylishly dressed.
Am sure we have all heard that the way we dress speaks volumes about who we are. If you do not dress seriously, you are not going to be taken seriously. But if you dress smart and neatly, you are more likely to be treated with respect thus work to improve your personal appearance.

Make sure you cover up tattoos and body jewelery if you are attending a professional function. Also be conscious of how you dress your jewelery; if you choose to put on silver, then all your jewelery should be silver and likewise when you choose to put on gold. Never mix the two.
Finally, know your type and dress according to your size. Get clothes that fit you properly, do not wear anything so tight or too big. Know your skin colour and what colours will match your colour. Improve your dressing tread and your personal appearance with attract people to you. First impressions opens opportunities when you least expect.
