In ancient Greek, one of the most swift and deadly weapon that was used in performing major destruction was a catapult. This weapon was designed like a huge human hand big enough to hold a huge stone. It was pulled backward and let loose so that it jacks forward with a powerful throwing force, letting loose the huge stone which flew with high speed into the air towards the intended target. This weapon would damaged extensively huge walls, strongholds, stone houses etc.
