Every one of us has a desire to achieve some level of success in whatever we pursue. But why do some of us give up alone the way? While few go all the way despite the many challenges we all face. This then brings me to ask, what is the secret to success?
Martin Luther King Junior in the trumpet of conscience states; “if you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving. You lose that courage to be that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream."
How true this is, you will agree with me that there is no greater medicine of life than having hope. No incentive so great and no tonic as powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow.
Without hope life’s meaning is lost and we are left with despair and no reason to live on.
It is not wishful thinking or fantasy. It is the desire and expecting that all will be well and that everything will work out for the better. The confidence that we will achieve our goals is the oil that drives us to fulfil our dreams.
The very least you can do in your life is to figure out what you hope for, and the most you can do is to live inside that hope. Under its roof is where you will acquire the armour to keep alive your dreams. Even when you encounter failure do give up because failure moulds us to become better people.
